Maria Victoria Wright was born in Orlando on April 11, 1985 and lived in Apopka until her untimely death at the age 15. She was the only girl and the youngest of eight siblings who loved and adored her.  
Maria went to Apopka High School.  She love the Lord, she also love singing on the praise team at First John Holiness Church where she flourish until the Lord called her to heaven on November 18, 2000 where I know she is singing and praising God.
Maria loved Contemporary Gospel music one of her favorite artist were Trin-i-tee 5:7.  She was known for her brilliant, wonderful smile and her tremendous sense of humor.  Maria loved to read and she was an amazing writer.
She loved her friends and family she was a daddy’s girl.  She touched our lives and changed them and we will always remember her. Maria inspired many and had a passion for life and in her memory we offer this scholarship so that her legacy lives on…….
