The Maria Victoria Wright Scholarship Foundation Application Criteria


We are proud to announce the release of the 2025 Scholarship Application. To be eligible to receive an award from the MARIA VICTORIA WRIGHT Scholarship Foundation, you must meet the following criteria:  

-a minimum with a 3.0 GPA
-be a U.S. citizen and lives in the Central Florida area enrolled in school or college
-from a  family  that demonstrates financial need-such as free or reduce lunch
-must submit a 500 word essay about your academic goals and your contribution to your school and/or community.
- a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach or employer must be included with the completed application

In order to facilitate the selection process, we now request that all application materials be sent together in one packet.

Please note: All applications must be received no letter than May 1, 2025
Applications received after May 1, 2025, will not be processed.
Award Amount $250. We will select several applicants.

Scholarship award recipients are selected without regard to race, color, religion, or sex. Applicant chosen as the recipient of this scholarship will be required to show proof of full-time enrollment in order to receive the scholarship funds.
